Carving Pumpkins

Saturday afternoon, while Jace was taking a nap, Lexi and I carved pumpkins...well, a pumpkin. Lexi didn't understand that we were supposed to make a face in the pumpkin, she just wanted to keep cutting away at it.

It took a lot to get her to touch the seeds...as you can tell by the fake smile. She doesn't like her hands sticky or messy.

She kept saying "cut right here." So we'd cut there. Do you love the giant hole???

The finished product...Isn't that the most beautiful piece of work you've ever seen??? Lexi was pretty excited about her very first carved pumpkin!

I love it! It will go down in Crane Family history as one of the most abstract pumpkins for sure! That is too cute and I love the look on her face while holding seeds. Good job Lexi :)
