Rainy Days

So, it's been super rainy here the past few weeks...(hopefully it's done). Here's a fun day we had a few weeks ago. We started off the day going to the Bean Museum here at BYU with Norseth's and Bohn's.

Henry, PJ, Jace, Lexi, Gretta

Afterward we went to McDonalds and let the kids play for awhile...we had to leave after awhile because of the stench...pretty gamey.

Then we came home and made snow! Ok it's styrofoam, which the kids loved...was a pain to clean up. I still find it around the house...but oh well, they were happy!

Father's Day

For Father's Day, Lexi and Jace made Tyson this sweet tie. He got many compliments on it at church.

Craziness!

Warning: Long Post Ahead...but it's all fun stuff!

The week started off (this is Memorial day) with us taking Lexi to get her ears pierced as an early birthday present. I was so surprised at how well she did...she's kind of a wus, but when they did it she wimpered a little and her eyes got teary, but then it was gone and she was fine. We let her get them done before her birthday so she would have them for her aunts wedding (see below)

Then on Friday me and my homies got together for lunch. Austyn had flown in for Merce's wedding. It's been a really long time since we'd all been together...ah, I love you guys!

Me, Austyn, Merce (bride-to-be), Andi

Then Austyn and I headed to get our nails done...Brody accompanied us...he's so cute!

Then Saturday was the big wedding day! Everything was so beautiful and ran smoothly! Aren't they just precious?

I had to put this picture in here! These are all of the nieces and nephews and the photographer told them to make a funny face and look at Lexi...she's so hard core! It's all that rock band she's been playing I guess.

Then Sunday we had a big birthday party for Kristy, Lexi and Burn...well it was mostly for Lexi. Both grandmas were in town...need I say more :-)

Monday was Lexi's birthday. She started the day out opening more presents.

Then Grandma Bair took her to Build-a-bear. It was so cute! Here's her washing her bear.

And naming it...she named it pinky.

Then we got ice cream...nothing like something cold on a hot day

Grandma Crane had gotten her this slip n slide, so we headed home to take advantage of the warm weather.

For dinner we went to Carl's Jr...the kids love the play area and always want to eat there

The night was finised with a Hello Kitty cake

Today we welcomed little Ellen Mara Center into the world. She was born at 1:30 am, so close to Lexi's birthday (which was Lexi's birthday wish). But, arrived a few hours later. She weighed in at 6 lbs 11 ounces and 20 inches long. She is the cutest thing ever!!! This birth was a miracle, and for those of you who don't know why go to maraadams.com...my sister Heather writes beautifully about this. I would try and do it, but I just read hers and am in tears, so you can just read hers. And if you want to see more pictures of baby Ellen go to centerfamily06.blogspot.com.

can't get enough of baby Ellen

Me and little Ellen

Kim is doing well and plans to go home tomorrow night. We are so excited for her and Ben. They are going to be exceptional parents! Congrats you guys!
