July update

As always, I can't believe July is pretty much over!  We've been having such a great summer.  Here's what we've been up to:

On the 4th I took Lexi and Jace to Liberty Lake while Coleson was sleeping and Tyson was working. It was very relaxing...

The day after the fourth we headed to Island Park to meet up with our law school friends; Casey Garner and his fiance, the Bohn's and the Norseth's.  The kids had a great time with their friends, and they all got along so well.  The adults had a great time chatting and staying up way too late!  It was so relaxing, I wish we could have stayed longer!

Coleson's favorite part of the trip, the four wheelers.  He seriously would not get off these things!

And of course, Tyson had to work a little.

We had one day in between before we headed to Twin Lakes.  Here's grandma and grandpa with all their grandkids (Minus Kim's kids).

Coleson's favorite part of this trip, icecream!!!

It's been a few years since we've had really good weather and this year it was fabulous!!!

My poor mom couldn't get in the water cause of her foot, so she had to just sit and watch everyone.  Of course the year we have the great weather and she can't do anything.  I guess there's always next year :-)

more ice cream!

We got to go spend the evening at our friend's private beach here at Liberty Lake and the kids have been asking every day since if we can go  back.

This is what summer days will do to you...

So much fun making mud pies, thanks grandma Crane

And here is Jace riding with no training wheels.  Uncle Kyle got him riding at Twin Lakes.  Look what those little legs can do :-) so proud of him!

more house pics

Tyson's mom, Kristy, came to town for a week and we were able to get a ton done on the house.  This woman can do anything!  We were seriously doing man stuff, using saws, removing toilets..she seriously taught me so much. Here we are painting Jace's room...yes, we are awesome for letting the kids help.

Our house is only a few blocks from this awesome park, that's we've been to almost every day.

The only thing I miss about Medical Lake...Jeannette and her family.  She became my bestie there. I taught her boys piano and I was at her house three times a week for Zumba!...she got me hooked :-) We had so much fun together and she kept me going through those long winter months.  Good thing we aren't too far and will still be able to see eachother

During Kim's baby shower my dad was brave enough to take 7 of his grandkids to the movie...by himself.  What an awesome grandpa.

Here's one of our projects from when Kristy was here.  We painted one wall of this bathroom dark brown, put in a new toilet and framed in the mirror..all by ourself.  Looks so good!

We painted one wall in Lexi's room this green color.  So it's now pink, green, and purple.  I looks really cute!

Our new dining set.

Kristy bought a little picnic table for the kids.  This was almost the hardest thing we did all week haha, putting together this table.

And here's Jace's room. We painted the grey and blue and then put the chair rail around...once again, all by ourselves!  Looks so awesome!

*I have to put a note in here that while all this is going on, my mom is stuck at home with a broken foot and arms.  I know she feels so bad about not being able to help, but she's just not able to. That's why its so great to be by family, there are lots more people to help :-)  We love you mom and can't wait for you to see the house in person!!!
