Belt Test

So Jace has been taking a Taekwondo class and he tested this past Friday for his striped green belt.  He's still a white belt, but this gives the little kids something to work toward.  He was pretty excited about it.  I tried to upload a video but it was taking forever. The above picture is with his white belt looped around his strong punching arm.

All she wants for Christmas

#3 finally came. She was hoping the other would be loose and be gone for Christmas too, but not the case. Oh well, one is good!

My brother the Ph.D

The title says it all. We went down to Pullman to see my brother become a doctor in soil science. Was pretty awesome and the kids did rather well, thanks to grandma who brought the over sized smarties :-) way to go Kyle!

Thanksgiving

We decided to head on down to Salem, OR for thanksgiving to see some of our best friends, the Shambaughs. On the way there we stopped in Portland to have dinner with Tyson's cousin, Kyle. While we are eating I get a call from my friend who is puking her guts out. So instead of going and getting exposed to the flu we stay at a hotel that night. We call them in the morning and everyone is fine but we wanted to give it the full 24 hours before we stepped foot in their house. In the meantime we went and visited with my aunt and uncle who we haven't see for a long time. We were also invited to some of our other best friends house for dinner. So we ended up having two thanksgiving dinners and thankfully no one got sick! The kids had a great time with their long lost friends. Lexi and Makenzie are only 5 days apart and were eachothers first friends.

We went to see Santa and did some black Friday shopping. We also went and saw the last twilight movie...yes the boys came too...even though they really wanted to see the new bond movie :-) such a fun trip!!! Wish I had more pictures!

Trip to Utah

Last month, Tyson and I were able to go to Utah for Carson's blessing and sealing. (thanks mom and dad for watching kids!) Tyson's brother, Devin and his wife Kaydee were able to adopt this cute little boy and took him to the temple to be sealed to them. It was so special. That was the first time i had been to a live sealing. What a special experience to all be in the temple and to witness this great event. Afterward the crowd gathered at the church for his baby blessing and a luncheon. We missed you Burn!

Sunday night we got together with old roommies and reminisced about the good old days, which is always a good time.  Sorry about the blurry picture.

We even got to squeeze in a fabulous dinner with our law school friends (Riddle's, Bohn's, and Northseth's), who just happened to be getting together for dinner the same night we were in town.  Coincidence? I think not!

How sweet is this picture???

Halloween

I just downloaded this blogger app! Most days my pictures are taken with my phone so this will be so handy.

We had a great Halloween! The kids were so cute! We took Coleson to about 5 houses and then we decided he was too slow, so Tyson took him home with him to pass out candy to all the 400 kids that came to our neighborhood! Yea you read that right, 400 kids! Apparently this neighborhood is prime location for trick or treating. My super heroes are the cutest...even super kangaroo!

Update

Here's what's been going on over at the Crane house.

I went and snapped a few family pics for a friend of mine.  While we were there I thought I'd get a few of my cute kiddos.  Isn't Lexi getting so big? She's such a sweet girl.

Wow, all three are looking...and smiling

Unfortunately Coleson's and Jace's didnt turn out that great, lighting wise, but this one is cute of Coleson

Jace has been having a good time playing soccer this year.  He's a pretty good little player too. He's also been taking a Tae Kwan Do class too, which is probably the cutest thing I've ever seen.  I have pics on my phone that will come later.

Lexi has been taking a dance/tumbling class. She's quite obsessed with cartwheels and hand stands.

Coleson turned 2 on the 22nd.  All I can say is he's definately a 2 year old.  His sweet nature has turned into...well two year old tantrums...a lot of them.  We still love him though :-)  He really is such a funny kid.  He reminds us of his uncle Burn.  He can never do anything normally, there has to be an added element to what he's doing.  He can't just eat his food normally, he has to make a boingy sound and hop it into his mouth (you do that right Burn?).  He's very smart too, he has to be to keep up with his older siblings.  I walked into the room as he was counting to 14!  I certainly didn't teach him that. We love our little Coke!

Tyson's grandparents came to visit, that is why we have a picture of the two of us :-)

Germ and Germp got to watch one of Jace's soccer games...he even scored a goal which was very exciting! Here's the team.
Coleson loved all his Germ time.  I love telling people about Germ and Germp.  These two are not normal grandparents.  They are 25 year olds trapped in 75 year old bodies.  Germp build us some shelving in the garage while they were here (pictures to come) and Germ spent her time taking us shopping and playing with the kids.  We stayed up until midnight one night just chatting away. We had a great time and are so glad we have these memories with them!

Other exciting news is that I became an independent consultant for paparazzi jewelry and accessories.  My sister in law, Kaydee, sells it and got me interested.  I've had three parties and am having a great time with it!  Yeah for me :-)

1st day of School!

Here's my little Lexter all ready for 2nd grade.

Jace is in afternoon kindergarten so he gets to continue to sleep in, which is good for Jace cause anyone who knows him knows that waking up early does not happen often.  He got up this morning around 9:30. He's going to have to go to bed at 6 next year when he goes all day.

Coleson wanted his picture taken too.

Now he's excited!

His gang: Teagin, Jesse, Ben, Jace

Coleson was so sad he didn't get to ride the bus

My big kiddos, where has the time gone?

Melt my heart that they are still good friends...I'm hanging on to this as long as I can :-)
