Presents, Proposals, and Birthday!

My mom and dad recently took a trip to Costa Rica and got everyone some shirts...that the kids want to wear pretty much everyday! Thanks mom and dad!

Tyson's sister is getting married the end of May and Ted (her fiance) proposed to her a few months ago with a temporary ring. Her custom ring was done this weekend, and another outlandish proposal...it was awesome! Ted had ordered this glass slipper and put Marissa's ring inside.
The catch was...she could have the slipper and the ring but she had to fight him for it. This was done at ThrowDown...the gym Marissa goes to. She's a fighter!

Marissa won the fight and Ted got down on his knee and asked her to marry him

She said yes, again. This is Jace with his soon to be uncle!

In other news, it was Tyson's birthday this past weekend (April 25th). Kaydee made him this sweet jean quilt! He put it over him cause he's naked underneath...just kidding, it kind of looks like that though.

My sister Allison and her boyfriend Kurt came and watched the kids so we could go out for lunch. When we got home Tyson's brother Brandon said he'd watch the kids while we went to a movie. The kids had fun all day playing with their aunt and uncle! When we got home from the movie, they had made a big fort in Uncle Burn's room.

They also did a little bit of coloring

I'm so cute right???

Monday night we celebrated with everyone and had chalupas and jello poke cake! Can you believe Tyson is 28??? Weird!

Jace's birthday is tomorrow, so another post will be coming about my big 2 year old!

Easter Pictures

We had a wonderful Easter yesterday. The kids were so excited that the Easter bunny made it to our house, well Jace didn't really care, but Lexi thought it was awesome. Thanks to grandmas and grandpas for Easter gifts as well!

Yesterday afternoon Marissa and Ted came over to dye Easter eggs with the kids. They were having more fun than the kids were :-) We then headed to my aunt Jill and uncle Mark's house for a big family dinner, which was delicious!

This weekend we've had stake conference where we got to hear Elder Scott speak to us. It was awesome to see and hear him in a more personal setting. It was very uplifting and it was great to hear an apostle of the Lord speak to us on this special Easter day. I am truly grateful for the knowledge we have of this special day, to know that Jesus Christ suffered, He died, and was resurrected on our behalf.

Fun Week

Three days after we got back from visiting my sister in WA, they drove out here for conference and stayed for a week because their kids had spring break. They stayed with my grandparents for a few nights in Salt Lake and then headed down here to Orem to stay with us a few nights. Here's what we did:

Easter egg hunt

We went up to BYU to have lunch with Kim one day. Max took this picture of us, we weren't really prepared for it, but aren't we cute?

Jace had to see the "awfall" - waterfall

Jace and Katrina having fun together and not yelling in each other's faces

One night we rented out the Progressive Tumbling gym, which was a blast! It's awesome because the big kids love it and the little kids love it too! Here's a video of one of the trains we had going.

We also went to the Bean Museum, which was a big hit! Here's Lexi and Natalie by the big butterfly

Had to get a picture by the Crane!

Natalie and Lexi doing their scavanger hunt at the museum

We headed down to Nielsen's park by our house - the weather was so nice this day!

The kids playing playdo
My sister-in-law brought over suckers one day and I went outside and found the four of them like this! How cute
Jace, Lexi, Katrina, Natalie

Max had a good time playing rock band and is now the drum master! Thanks for coming to see us guys! We miss you already.
