Sledding

These pictures were taken at the beginning of February...the snow is finally starting to melt here! Thank goodness! Lexi wanted to go sledding so bad, so we went down the hill a few times and then she was pretty much done. Didn't like it as much as she thought she would. (I don't know why this is underlined)

We sent Jace down a few times by himself, sitting different ways...no matter which way he sat, he always fell over. I shouldn't be laughing so hard in the video, but it was really funny. Luckily, as you can tell from the picture, he didn't even get any snow on his face, just the hat. He was having a good time.

He's done crawling!

It's official, Jace is a walker! Just within this past week, he's gotten really good and would rather walk than crawl. I honestly thought he'd be walking a lot sooner than now, since he started crawling at 5 months. But, its fine with me that he's waited until now. Here are some videos!

Easter fun

We've had a wonderful Easter! On Thursday we went to Becky Coil's house for an egg hunt...of course I didn't have my camera, so if anyone has any pictures with Lexi or Jace in them, send 'em my way! Lexi got these hair bows from the Easter bunny, and they matched Jace's shirt so well, I put one in his hair.

We had an egg hunt this morning...Jace was more interested in the plant than the egg

Nice bum shot :-)

Before church in her Easter dress

Coloring Easter eggs - this was hard for Lexi. She wanted me to do most of them because she was worried she would get her hands dirty.
The finished product

Hooray for Easter! Hope everyone had a wonderful day!

Finally made it!

My awesome mom mailed us a wonderful Valentine's package. It would have been nice to get it for Valentine's day, but we got it right before Easter! It took a month and a half to get here, RIDICULOUS!!! All I know is that the package kept going from Spokane, WA to Hodgkins, IL over and over again. Anyway, we got home from somewhere and we saw our package on the doorstep, which we didn't think would ever come. A few hours later, our Easter package came too! *Warning - this package was sent UPS. Thanks mom for our packages, we LOVE them!

Easter

Easter is almost here! We saw the Easter bunny at the mall the other day and I've been trying to teach Lexi about why we celebrate Easter and how Jesus was crucified and resurrected (obviously I used words a 2 year old would understand). She was pretty fascinated by the Easter bunny though and thinks all the Easter eggs around the house are pretty cool, not to mention her Easter "princess" dress. I'll keep trying :-) We hope everyone has a wonderful Easter!!!

*TAG*

Tagged: In no particular order, here are 10 of my favorite pictures. They are all pretty recent - I didn't want to scan old pictures. Love the digital world! I wanted to put a picture of our wedding, but the CD's are in a box somewhere. That would have been one of the pictures on here. So, here they are:

*These are some of my college roommates and my bestest friends in the whole wide world*
Austyn Smith, Andrea Baxter, Marissa Crane (my sis.-in-law) and me.

I took this picture of last summer. Lexi had just turned 2 and Jace was 2 months old.

All the grandkids on the Bair side. This picture was taken the same day as Jace's blessing.

Mara and Jace - This picture was taken on the Snoqulamie train last summer. I love Jace's little grin and Mara's just adorable.

The Crane family - all together again- Outside the Timpanogas temple. The whole family was able to go to the temple together.

Feetsies - Tyson, Michelle, and Lexi's feet.

My sisters - Do we look alike??? I have a brother too, who looks like us too, but he's too cool for pictures :-)

Do you like my hair??? - I think Lexi was 9 months old in this picture.

These are our other bestest friends, Makenzie (5 days older than Lexi) and Stephanie Shambaugh. This was taken on Lexi's first birthday. We had a fun day swimming and the went home for birthday cake.

The day Jace was born with Boston Pratt (one day old)

This is one of my favorite videos that I had to put on here. This was taken just after Lexi's 2nd birthday. Lexi was helping great grandma Walter take out her curlers. I just think its so sweet.

Now I tag SCOOBIE, KIM, KAYDEE

Meanwhile...back in NH

While Tyson and I were in New York the kids had so much fun with Grandma Crane. Here are some of their highlights:

*Kaleidescope children's museum* Lexi thought it was pretty fun dressing Jace up as a bumblebee

*Making messes for Grandma to clean up*

*Making a surprise birthday cake for mommy for when she got back* (It was really on Thursday but didn't have time to celebrate with the kids before we left)

*Lexi and Grandma getting locked out of the apartment...with Jace asleep inside* This is Brandon in the picture who helped them get the door open.

THANKS AGAIN KRISTY! WE LOVE YOU!

New York!

During Tyson's winter break we (just Tyson and I - Thanks Kristy for watching the kids!) got to go to New York City. We got to stay with our bestest friends Austyn and Dustin. We had SO much fun! Here are some of the highlights:

*The Brooklyn Bridge*

*Serendipity's* (yummy!)

*Times Squre*

*The best part was probably going to see WICKED!* Tyson and I tried to get tickets Friday night doing the lottery, but didn't get them. When you put your name in the lottery everyone (probably 100 people) puts their name in and they randomly pull out 10 names or so and you can only take one other person with you. When you get tickets through the lottery they are only $25. So we went back Saturday morning with Austyn and Dustin and put our names in the lottery again. This time mine and Tyson's name got called so all four of us got to go! Not only did we get tickets, but we had FRONT ROW tickets...not only front row tickets but front row and dead center! It was awesome!

*The M&M store*

*The Empire State Building*

*The Metropolitan Museum of Art*

Not a highlight: Saying good bye :-( We miss you guys already. Thanks Austyn and Dustin for an awesome trip!
