During Tyson's winter break we (just Tyson and I - Thanks Kristy for watching the kids!) got to go to New York City. We got to stay with our bestest friends Austyn and Dustin. We had SO much fun! Here are some of the highlights:

*The best part was probably going to see WICKED!* Tyson and I tried to get tickets Friday night doing the lottery, but didn't get them. When you put your name in the lottery everyone (probably 100 people) puts their name in and they randomly pull out 10 names or so and you can only take one other person with you. When you get tickets through the lottery they are only $25. So we went back Saturday morning with Austyn and Dustin and put our names in the lottery again. This time mine and Tyson's name got called so all four of us got to go! Not only did we get tickets, but we had FRONT ROW tickets...not only front row tickets but front row and dead center! It was awesome!

Not a highlight: Saying good bye :-( We miss you guys already. Thanks Austyn and Dustin for an awesome trip!

That's so awesome that you guys got to see all that stuff!! I've heard Wicked is awesome! Very jealous... maybe Todd and I will have to give NY another try without kids. Wanna watch em? JK!!
We won the WICKED lottery too (well 2 1/2 years ago)!!! It is amazing.

That IS awesome about the Wicked tickets...I know how it feels, Ryker and I both won too when we were in NY with our friends, sitting front row for 1/4 the price is the only way to go! We want to come next time!
How fun! I LOVE NYC! I love it even more in the summer too! How fun that you got to go childless ... ah, to be able to truly have a vacation. What a nice MIL you have!

Looks like you guys had a blast! Wish I could have come too! :( I wanna play. Glad you got into Wicked. Was is as amazing as everyone says? I haven't seen it yet.
