Jace has been cracking us up lately. He wants to move and crawl so bad. He's getting really good at getting himself up on his hands and knees and now goes up onto his toes and sticks his bum up in the air. He'll stay there for a little bit and then fall on his face. He gets really frustrated! It's pretty cute. He's also getting really good at sitting up by himself. It's so fun to see the different things they can do.




And of course this blog would not be complete if there wasn't a picture of Lexi on here. My grandma used to do this thing called the "seat ride" to us when we were little. Somehow (and I have no idea how this happened) we (my sisters and I) adapted the name to be "seat ride don't wanna be." Weird I know, but this is Lexi doing seat ride don't wanna be to Jace. He obviously loves it!

Friday night we had a game night with a bunch of friends, kidless...yes, you read that right, kidless. We left 7 kids (the oldest being 6 years old) with a babysitter across the street at the Riddle's place (thank you Jessica Johnson). We had a blast hanging out playing gestures and the Wii.

We had an awesome summer! Most of these pictures are from our house boat trip at Lake Shasta with Tyson's family. We were shocked that we actually got Lexi to wakeboard with Tyson. She was kind of a wus when it came to the water. So when she said she wanted to do it, we fired up the boat and got the camera ready. The other pictures (wake suring and air chair) were taken at the Delta (about 20 min. from Tyson's house) I have to brag a little bit about Tyson and how he's pretty much a pro at every water sport...He makes me sick. We had a blast though and we love going with both families every year to go to the lakes!

Everyone always says that Jace looks like a little man. I took these pictures and to me it looks like he's turning into a little boy and and not so much an old man any more. What do you think??? He's now 4 1/2 months old is going to be crawling pretty soon. He loves being up on his hands and knees and is starting to rock back and forth.

This week we also got to babysit our friends (Todd and Kylene) kids on Tuesday night so that they could go out for their anniversary. Lexi really did miss her friends over the summer.

Back to New Hampshire

Well, I've been told multiple times that I need to start a blog. I've been too busy and too stupid to figure it out, so here goes nothing. We got back to New Hampshire a few weeks ago after being in Washington for the whole summer. Its nice being back and knowing where things are and not having to meet new people and adjust to a new place. We missed our friends over the summer and its nice to finally say that Tyson is in his 2nd year of law school...which means he's almost half way done! Since we've been back we got to go to Boston with Kim and Ben for labor day. Ben's sister was getting married on labor day in Boston, so they flew into Manchester and stayed with us a night and then we all went to Boston. This past weekend we also got to go to York Maine and went to the beach. Our friends Pete, Taylor, PJ, and Henry Norseth came with us. We got rained on, but it was still a lot of fun!
