Jace

Last week Jace had a week from H E double hockey sticks. The week started off with a trip to the GI specialist where they told me he might have reflux and they did blood work to check for Celiac Disease. The next day he (and Lexi) had a runny nose, was coughing and throwing up...which last 3 or 4 days (yes, they've had flu shots). I got a call on Thursday saying that his tests results were inconclusive and they needed more blood work done. So we went in on Friday for more blood work. Monday was ended with Jace putting his hand on the hot glue gun and waking up with this... and Tuesday followed with a trip to the doctor finding out he had double ear infections. What a week huh? Poor little guy. I'm happy to say that he's doing MUCH better since getting his antibiotics and HE DOES NOT HAVE CELIAC!!!...he just has skinny kid disease! Yeah for Jace for surviving last week!

haha!! Austyn- I was JUST going to type 'when it rains it pours'. How weird. Anyway, what a lame week. Good job sticking it out Michelle! That's tough when they're hurt/sick/cranky. Hopefully you'll get a nice lull for awhile

So glad he doesn't have Celiac! That would be no fun at all! Really, I'm surprised they were so adamant about testing him. Skinny adult disease probably produces kids with skinny kid disease. Genetics are crazy like that.

What!! Poor little Jace. That is one terrible week. I guess Santa will have to make up for it by brining him an extra present or two :) Glad to hear he just has skinny kid disease. He and Landon can be skinny buddies!!
