February picture dump

Jace is sick today so while both kids are sleeping I thought I'd get the blog caught up. I can't believe February is almost over! Crazy! Here's what we've been up to this month:

Coleson's new favorite spot

he's learned how to close his eyes, which is pretty hilarious to us

Jace reading books one day. I love that he will fill up the bean bag and just look at books

We headed over to Seattle for Natalie's baptism and Max's priesthood ordination. Thanks to Heather and Bryan for letting us all stay there. I usually don't think we have that big of a family until we are all together...which isn't a bad thing, just a little crazy :-)

While we were there Lexi lost her 2nd tooth. It was just dangling there and Lexi is kind of a wus and wouldn't pull it out herself, so mommy had to take matters into her own hands. Normally I probably wouldn't have done anything, but her tooth was growing in behind it and was in pretty far. So once we finally got it out it didn't really look like she had just lost it cause of the other tooth.

Happy Birthday Max!

Aren't my boys so cute...and isn't Jace's hair awesome?

We got the kids a Cars 2 video game, which is pretty fun I must say. Here are my gamers.

Cookies for Valentine's day. This was actually a few days after, but cute none the less. For Valentine's day I had a group lesson/mini recital for my piano students, which was really fun for me as a teacher. We had treats and played games and then they had all prepared a song to play for one another.

President's day weekend we headed to my parents house. Here's grandma doing "pamper" to all the grandkids, and the grandkids doing pamper to grandpa Bair.

January

Here are some things that happened in January:

We got some snow!

Story: One day while Coleson was taking a nap, I took Jace outside so I could shovel the driveway. Well on our way out, the door got locked behind us. Lexi got home from school and we went over to the neighbor's house to use her phone to call Tyson. We had a fun afternoon playing in the snow. It was quite the feat trying to keep Jace warm enough, but with enough distractions we made it til Tyson got home...2 hours later :-)

And this is what Lexi had to say about making a snowman

Kyle and his family, and Kim and her family came over one weekend to go sledding at Mt. Spokane. We'd left the babies with a babysitter, which was a very good thing. Unfortunately, the first run down, Kyle and Jens crashed and didn't go again after that. I think Kyle is still having neck problems. Other than that it was a lot of fun. The hill was great because there was enough of a thrill for the grown ups, but not too scary for the kiddos, perfect combo. Here's Jace and Ellen before heading to the hill

Coleson's top teeth FINALLY popped through. He's 16 months and has only 4 teeth

And this is just cute of Lexi and Jace doing an I Spy book together

Devin & Kaydee

This is Tyson's brother, Devin and his wife, Kaydee. They are looking to adopt and are starting to spread the word. I know there aren't a lot of people who read this blog, but if you could spread the word or know of anyone who is looking at giving their child/ren up for adoption, any help would be great! Devin and Kaydee would be awesome parents, in fact, I think they are better parents than we are!!! We love them so much and know there is a special child(ren) out there that is meant to join their family!

I've added Devin and Kaydee's button to our blog, and if anyone else would like to help spread the word for them there is the html code you can add to your own blog under the button. That takes you to their profile at itsaboutlove.org where you can learn more. Or you can email them at devinandkaydee@gmail.com.
