Birthday Girl

Here's what we did for Lexi's b-day:

Presents

A new bike!

New dress

We headed to Clemyjontri park for the kids last day of preschool/graduation. This is seriously the mother of all parks. Here's all the kids with their graduation caps

When we got home we headed to the pool...it started to rain when we were first ready, but only lasted about a half hour, which worked out nice cause when we got to the pool we were the only ones there!

Birthday cake!

This past year Lexi has been working on her articles of faith and she wanted to learn them all by the time she was 5...well she's done it. Here's the last one:

5 years Old!

Today is little Lexter's birthday. I cannot believe she is 5! She's has told us for about the last year that she would stop growing up once she reached 5, but today she said that Heavenly Father has to let her keep growing...doh! So, I went on to tell her that I would pray really really hard that he wouldn't let that happen...can't they be cute and little forever?!?! We love Lexi and so are so glad she is in our family! Happy Birthday Lex! Here's some pictures of her growing up...

Another Zoo Day

For Lexi's preschool we decided to take the kids to the zoo for one of their last week of "classes." We've been doing preschool with a few kids in the ward and Lexi has loved it. I still can't believe she starts kindergarten in the fall...yikes!

Aren't they so cute??? Peter, Caleb, Megan, Gretta, Lexi, Brittain

Still LOVE and will ALWAYS LOVE that the National Zoo is free!

Father and son

Tyson and Jace went on their first father and son's campout a few weekend ago. They didn't show up until about 8pm because it was pouring rain. Luckily the rain stopped and had a good time.

Was was really excited!
Don't be alarmed by the bandaid on his head...he just ran into the wall...wasn't bleeding or anything...why do baidaids make things feel better???
The boys slept in the Expo instead of setting up the tent...Jace slept very comfortably...that kid can seriously sleep anywhere...and missed breakfast.

Birthday Day!

Jace's birthday started off with, of course, opening presents! Here's some of the stuff he got:

Color changer cars
tub of dinosaurs
tee ball
I told him that since it was his birthday he could and do whatever he wanted for his birthday. So for breakfast he wanted grilled cheese and chocolate milk. For lunch we headed to McDonalds. After lunch we went to toys r us so he could pick something out....which ended up being like a hour and a half trip...he just couldn't decide on what he wanted, not because he wanted everything, but because he just couldn't make up his mind. He was so content just to wander around the store and look at the toys. He'd say "wow, mom look at this, cool!" and i'd say "do you want to get that?" "No, i don't want this." We went through the store like 3 times. He finally decided on a story reader...a book that actually reads to you. Yes, approved!

To finish the night off we headed to Chuck E Cheese...thanks to Melanie and kids for coming to celebrate with us!

New Jammies! Jace had fallen asleep on the way to Chuck E Cheese and was not tired that night. He got daddy to stay up with him and watch Cars til 1:30 in the morning. What a spoiled boy! We love you Jace!
