Drums, PA

We took advantage of the long weekend and met up with our NY friends in Drums, PA...in the Poconos. Yeah, there's not much to this town, but hey, we were with our friends and for $55 a night, it was totally worth it! We had such a good time and it was so great to get away!

The kids became instant friends!

Isn't that cute!?!? Lexi, Brody, and Jace...Jace keeps asking to play with Brody and if Austyn and Dustin can come visit us!

We took this picture the last day and I told Austyn not to put it on her blog, because i hadn't showered yet or anything. I felt a lot greasier than I look...don't comment if you think I look greasy.

We headed to split rock resort to the indoor water park. Lexi has been asking all winter if we can go swimming and we finally got to. The place was awesome, but not really geared for little kids...not for the money. However, if you have an 8 year old, they would be in heaven! We still had a great time though and Lexi finally got to swim! I even bribed her to go down one of the big slides with me...so brave.

Here is my fatty baby...he even liked the water

By the time we left, the kids were wiped!!! They crashed pretty hard that night

Which meant that the big boys could play some X Box...boo yah! Aren't they cool

Now here's a good lookin' group!

We went to Chuck E Cheese and Lexi spent most of the time there like this:

She had a fever all that night and next day...she did muster up some energy to play a few games

My happy baby!
Oh cute babies! Cooper is sooo cute and sooo chill! Cooper was born 6 weeks before Coleson.

Christmas Events

Christmas eve we headed up to the Botanical gardens to see the train display. The kids really liked Thomas the train. The set up of the whole thing was really beautiful!

We then went to the National Harbor to see the waterskiing Santa. Not only did we see Santa, but we saw his reindeer, frosty the snowman, the grinch, and elves. I don't think the kids liked it that much cause it was so cold, but I thought it was pretty cool. Those people are absolutely insane because it was FREEZING!

Here is everyone in their new pjs

Christmas morning was a blast. We all had a good time opening gifts. Here is Lexi putting on some makeup she got from Germ

presents!

It looked like a bomb went off at our place

And here's our little chunkers in his new overalls...so cute!

Lexi in a new outfit and her walk pup

That night we went to the temple to watch the nightly performance, which was awesome!, and see the lights. We met our law school friends, the Heidenreich's and the Parson's. It was a great night.

snug as a bug

It was a great day to be together as a family and that we could celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. It was a fun season to do some service and teach the kids a little more about why we celebrate Christmas!
