more house pics

Tyson's mom, Kristy, came to town for a week and we were able to get a ton done on the house.  This woman can do anything!  We were seriously doing man stuff, using saws, removing toilets..she seriously taught me so much. Here we are painting Jace's room...yes, we are awesome for letting the kids help.

Our house is only a few blocks from this awesome park, that's we've been to almost every day.

The only thing I miss about Medical Lake...Jeannette and her family.  She became my bestie there. I taught her boys piano and I was at her house three times a week for Zumba!...she got me hooked :-) We had so much fun together and she kept me going through those long winter months.  Good thing we aren't too far and will still be able to see eachother

During Kim's baby shower my dad was brave enough to take 7 of his grandkids to the movie...by himself.  What an awesome grandpa.

Here's one of our projects from when Kristy was here.  We painted one wall of this bathroom dark brown, put in a new toilet and framed in the mirror..all by ourself.  Looks so good!

We painted one wall in Lexi's room this green color.  So it's now pink, green, and purple.  I looks really cute!

Our new dining set.

Kristy bought a little picnic table for the kids.  This was almost the hardest thing we did all week haha, putting together this table.

And here's Jace's room. We painted the grey and blue and then put the chair rail around...once again, all by ourselves!  Looks so awesome!

*I have to put a note in here that while all this is going on, my mom is stuck at home with a broken foot and arms.  I know she feels so bad about not being able to help, but she's just not able to. That's why its so great to be by family, there are lots more people to help :-)  We love you mom and can't wait for you to see the house in person!!!

June

June just flew by! We have been going non stop all month with the move and school getting out and everything.  June 1st was an eventful day in the Crane household.

Lexi turned 7. I can't believe how big she is!  She is such a cute and sweet girl!

We also bought our first house that day!  This is after we did all the signing, our realtor took us to lunch to celebrate.  Like I said in my last post, it's pretty surreal that we will be staying put for awhile.

Lexi wanted to go to Tomato Street for her birthday dinner

Random picture of Coleson eating blueberries

My grandma and grandpa Walter stopped in Ephrata for a few days, so we went to see the.  Here they are with their great grandkids

I had my last group lesson/recital with my piano students.  I'm so proud of all of them for all their hard work this past year.

Lexi got to get out of school a few days early because of the move.  Here's her last day with her teacher Ms. O'Donnell

My SIL, Necia and her kids came over for a few days to help with the move.  Necia is seriously so awesome!  I couldn't have done it without her and it was shocking that the kids did so well while we ignored them while packing.  I had gotten a nasty sinus infection, so really, I couldn't have done it without her. We took a break and went to the Medical Lake parade, mostly to get the kids out of the way while they guys were loading up the trailer.

My dad and brother came Friday night to help load and unload everything. And, not only did Necia come and help me pack up and load stuff, she took Lexi and Jace home with her for a few days so I could get some stuff unpacked without the rugrats around. This guy loved having all that attention for a few days :-)

Then my sister, Kim and her kids came and helped me too!  Man, my family is awesome! Here are Lexi and Ellen acting as decorations while trying to decide what we should put in that spot

James and Coleson loved playing in the rocks

On the 27th we headed over to Ephrata for a baby shower for Kim.

Update

So it's been a month since I've posted anything.  A lot has been going on.  Here's a recap:

My mom and sisters (minus Alli) came over for Time Out for Women.  Tyson ended up taking the kids over to Ephrata to have "boys...and kids" conference.  I'm glad we took this picture because during the Saturday morning session Kim decided she needed to get checked out at the hospital. She's 24 weeks preggo and was cramping.  She had her 2nd baby 8 weeks early, so we all headed to the hospital to make sure everything was ok. Even though we missed a lot of the conference we felt like we got a lot out of what we did hear, and it was fun to be together with the girls.

Gotta bust out the sprinklers when it gets hot out

or just play in the bucket

Tyson's brother, Devin and his wife, Kaydee, have been trying to adopt for a little while and they were blessed with an adorable baby boy.  We are so excited for them and can't wait to meet little Carson.

Tyson turned 31 on April 25, we are getting old :-)

Jace turned 5 on April 30. I can't believe he is this big!  It's even more crazy that he starts kindergarten in the fall.

We celebrated his birthday at Chuck e cheese.  Grandma and aunt Kim and her kids were able to come over and celebrate with us. This was the first time i'd ever used fondant too...not bad huh?

And look at this girl...she's so cute! - just had to add that

And this little guy is getting so big too.  He's talking more and more every day.  I have such a love/hate relationship with this age.  It's so fun to listen to him talk and do all these new things, but he sure is a pain at church, or anywhere else where he has to sit still

Getting a picture to give to the grandmas for mother's day

Jace doing some sweet hand stands

It's so fun that we are close and could spend the day with my mom for Mother's day.  She really is the greatest!

Other exciting news: We bought a house! We close June 4th...which is coming up soon! I will post pics once we get our stuff in and situated.   Lexi doesn't get out of school until the 19th so we probably won't move in until after that sometime.  But we are super excited! Crazy to think we will be staying put for awhile.
